Explanation workshop Blue Heat:

Aquathermal energy or blue heat is a relatively new concept with a lot of potential, more specifically in heating facilities for buildings. A Leuven startup called “Extraqt” has been established from CORE, which conducts research into and the deployment of heat networks via aquathermal energy. In the form of a 'lesson' with a strong focus on interaction, we talk about the operation, future prospects and challenges of this technology. A basic understanding of energy is appropriate for this, so we recommend this for those 16 years or older.
