In this project, a financial analysis is conducted of the citizen energy cooperatives of REScoop Vlaanderen. This is based on the annual financial statements of the 22 citizen energy cooperatives of REScoop Vlaanderen. Various financial ratios, such as solvency, liquidity, and ROE, are analyzed to determine their economic health. What is particularly interesting here is that this analysis combines research on the cooperatives' investments in sustainable energy with the financial outlook of the cooperative as a business model.

This project is carried out by Simon, the only business engineer in our team, who combines his personal interest in economics with his passion for sustainable energy. This project highlights how many different areas you can tackle within CORE, with a wide variety of studies, profiles, and interests!
