Craywinckelhof is an energy optimisation project in a microbrewery in Lubbeek, Leuven.
Craywinckelhof is a micro-berwery and distillery in Lubbeek Leuven where there is also a B&B.
CORE is performing an energy study to map the heat flow and the heat losses. The goal of the study is to reduce energy losses and find a solution for the residual heat.
For this, we look at:
Optimizing the heat losses of the brewhouse
Feasibility of the use of residual heat for residential heating
Feasibility of an ORC cycle
Feasibility of a new steam boiler
Craywinckelhof is the newest project in a serie of heat audits at breweries. Because of this, CORE is building an expertise of reducing heat energy losses and optimizing heat flow. Previous breweries CORE has audited are brewery Bosteels and brewery Huyghe.
